Our
Redeemer Lutheran Church is
specially designed for the people
who are looking for the kind of
church described above. We are
dedicated to encouraging people to
investigate the scriptures and grow
at their own pace. We plan to
do this in a friendly atmosphere
where you will feel welcomed, but
not pressured.
We
are served once a month by Pastor
Matt Brown who studied for the
ministry for nine years. He
has been taught to deliver sermons
which are faithful to God and His
Word. At our weekly meetings
we listen to sermons tailored
towards giving people practical help
in their lives. We also study
God's Word weekly and rejoice in its
message of forgiveness of sins and
eternal life through Jesus Christ.
What
kind of a congregation do we
envision? One where God's Word
is taught purely and lovingly.
We envision a church where both
pastor and people are friendly and
sincere, recognizing their own
sinfulness and gratefully trusting
the forgiveness God has won for us.
We envision a congregation where the
emphasis is on the peace we have
with God, through what Jesus did on
the cross. Our Redeemer
Lutheran Church of Union City will be a joyful
congregation, eager to reach out
with the message of Jesus!
